Our Team

I have the privilege of serving the PPC community as the Pastor/Head of Staff, and ministering alongside all the wonderful and gifted folks on staff here.  I started my tenure with this church in 2023 after serving over fifteen years as a pastor in New Jersey and Massachusetts. I attended Eastern University for undergraduate studies, so my call to Paoli is a fun return to the Mainline world.  After college, I went on to graduate from Princeton Theological Seminary. Through both undergraduate and seminary studies, I focused most intently on biblical studies, history, and theology. When I'm not at church, I'm probably spending time with my wife, daughter, and two dogs.

My name is Jonathan Mikesell and I am the Associate Pastor here at Paoli Presbyterian. I started at Paoli in March of 2009. I graduated from Messiah University with a BA in Mathematics/Bible, and then from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. My hobbies include sports cards, fantasy football, and logic puzzles. My wife, Jen (married in 1996), and I have two children, Matthew and Ally.
